What is your deepest Fear?

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Hey, Thanks again for sharing that verse tonight. I really needed to hear that. I got home and was thinking more about it and was reminded if a lesson that I actually taught this summer to the youth at the church I worked with in Austin. It is about what to do in seasons of waiting. I basically write out the lesson on my blog. It's pretty long. Don't feel obligated to read it, but I thought I would let you know it's there. Thanks for your leadership and encouragement.

Hey Rodger - I don't want to rain on your blog post but I'm not sure Marianne Williamson is in line with the bible in many of her views. In your quote she mentions the glory of God "is in everyone" which isn't biblcal. Also, she is quoted as saying "You've committed no sins, just mistakes.". Anyway, check out some more information about her here:
