store music

What in the world is up with CVS's choice of music?
The last few times I've been in there, I've been put quickly in a depressed mood from the horrible music....
songs that I've never heard before. songs that I can't imagine anyone thinking "this is a good song"
I can't help but wonder if there's some specific purpose for playing such poor music.
does it cost them extra to play quality music?
can anyone enlighten me?

You found depression at a drug store Roj. Lower your expectations for a happier shampoo run!

Oh! Maybe Sarah found the answer! If you come in to pick up your prescription for your strep throat and become depressed by the music, you will have to come back for a prescription for anti-depressants when your therapist can't find the root of your depression and can only think to drug the problem. Aha! Very sneak CVS!
